2020 has been a challenging year for all of us.

But during these difficult times we found ways to create and maintain connections.

Asociación Mujeres y Conservación is a volunteer initiative striving to empower, highlight, and support women conservationists in Latin America.

During this year we have truly created a space where we can share the real faces and stories of women conservationists in Latin America. Through our blog, our directory, and online events, we have successfully connected and highlighted women from Mexico, Costa Rica,  Cuba, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Paraguay, Brasil, Chile and Argentina

What do these women think of this initiative?

Adriana, Colombia: "AMC has given us the space to share and express ourselves from the bottom of our hearts."

Francy, Brasil: "We need to start believing in ourselves, start believing and start sharing our story."

In the Global North, conservation, outdoor activities, and environmental awareness are exceptionally present in the general public's daily life. But in our countries there is still a long way to go, and that is why we're requesting the support of those who have led to way of conservation, and already value and appreciate these types of initiatives.

Help us keep connecting and highlighting kick-butt women conservationists!
